So Coinbase is upgrading their security, but still locks me out due to their primitive Cloudflare captcha system.
This system has locked me out for several days every few months because somehow it flags my IP address as malicious.
Right now, I can’t access my coinbase account unless using Privacy Pass, a chrome extension to bypass this nonsense. Coinbase Pro won’t even show up while the captcha flag is active on my IP.
I wish every site would abandon the Cloudflare captcha system. It’s ineffective and cripples our access to websites. There should be a huge class-action lawsuit against Cloudflare (or the sites using it) for disrupting service to its consumers based on faulty algorithm data.
This isn’t just a nuisance. Right now, I would not be able to conduct any financial trades on CB Pro due to the captcha. This is a banking issue.
Other sites have no problem with security without having to lock out its users (Gemini works fine).
For the life of me, I can’t understand why there aren’t more complaints (legal or otherwise) to get this stupid catcha system banned.
