RTX3080 with AiO watercooling

I’am usually running only 3070s in my rigs. For my PC the 3070 is to bad for 1440p on 21:9 screen.

With a bit luck I got a Aorus RTX 3080 Xtreme Waterforce (aio watercooling) for a good price. I know the issue with the vram temps but thought with a watercooler its not a big deal, but it is a big deal… I changed the pads but temps are nearly the same. Fans from the radiator are running at 100%, Nicehash settings are on Lite. With case window open and extra fans I can squeez out 90MH/s / 226W at 100° VRAM on Medium…

So I can not recommend the aio model from gigabyte, I dont know if other companys have better solutions.

What do you think?

  1. What pads did you use and are you sure to do a correct install? Water cooled cards should always be way better. I think you might have lost the silicon lottery actually because most people with the AIO versions of these are able to get mem temps around 80s for the most part.

Finally able to share my almost 1gh/s rig!
