[Question] Was hoping someone could look over this funding page I have that lists the steps in order to donate to my GitHub project and see if the steps are correct.

Mods I apologize if this is against the rules, your usual Discussion thread is not active and not stickied. I’ll remove and wait for the thread if this isn’t allowed, but as per your rules it seems fine.

I’m not trying to advertise, as the actual project is still completely private, therefore no one is able to donate at all. I’ve received zero funds, and I’ve been funding it myself.

The GitHub Repo is only open due to trying to get open-source benefits with GitHub and GitBook. It is still not intended for general public use.

If you’d like to look at the page within GitHub here is the [hyperlink](https://github.com/BibliographiesProject/Bibliographies/wiki/Donations)

Here is an [imgur link](https://imgur.com/a/W5FemdH) to the same page as above, just as a screenshot.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks!

  1. As far as I can see the two procedures you describe are more or less ok.

Towards the end your terminology is wrong: You don’t give a Monero *public key* to the people so they can send you XMR, but a *public address*.

And some language detail, using “avenue” here sounds strange:

    > Currently Monero is the only accepted donation avenue

    I would write something like:

    > Currently Monero is the only accepted cryptocurrency for donations

CS said send me to the specialist of the another department and waited 1 day with no answer
